What is the standard return process?

Returns are accepted at any of our pickup locations (Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, or Savannah GA) during business hours. A Cheche Exotics concierge will inspect the vehicle with you, document mileage and fuel level, and release your security deposit hold once the return is complete.

Can I return the vehicle early?

Yes. Early returns are accepted, but prepaid rental days are non-refundable. If you need to adjust your rental period, contact our concierge team as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What happens if I return the vehicle late?

Accepted Answer

A grace period of 59 minutes applies. After that, hourly late fees apply up to the full daily rate. Returns more than 3 hours late may be charged an additional day at the prevailing daily rate.

Do I need to refuel before returning?

Accepted Answer

Vehicles should be returned with the same fuel or charge level as at pickup. If not, refueling/recharging fees will apply at market rates plus a convenience surcharge.

How much is the security deposit?

Security deposits range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the vehicle class. Luxury SUVs and sedans typically require $1,500 to $2,500, while exotic supercars require $3,000 to $5,000.

When is the security deposit collected?

The deposit is authorized on your major credit card at pickup. It is a hold, not a charge, and will be released by your bank after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.

How long does it take to get my deposit back?

We release the hold within 7 business days of return. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to reflect in your account.

Can I use a debit card for the security deposit?

No. We require a major credit card in the renter's name. Debit cards and prepaid cards are not accepted for the security deposit.

What are the age and license requirements?

Renters must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid, government-issued driver's license. International guests are welcome with a valid license from their home country and, in some cases, an International Driving Permit.

Do you accept international driver's licenses?

Yes. We accept valid foreign licenses. Licenses not in English should be accompanied by an official translation or International Driving Permit for verification purposes.

Can someone else drive the vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Additional drivers may be added for a fee and must present a valid driver's license, meet our age requirement, and be listed on the rental agreement. Unauthorized drivers void insurance and deposit protections.

Do you check driving history?

Yes. We verify a clean or acceptable driving record. Major violations, recent DUIs, or multiple at-fault incidents may result in rental denial.

What insurance is required to rent?

Accepted Answer

Renters must carry full-coverage auto insurance that extends to rental vehicles, including comprehensive and collision coverage. We verify your policy before pickup.

Does my personal auto insurance cover exotic rentals?

Accepted Answer

Many personal policies exclude high-value or exotic vehicles. Contact your insurer to confirm coverage. If your policy does not extend, we offer supplemental coverage options at checkout.

What if I decline insurance?

Accepted Answer

Proof of transferable full-coverage insurance is mandatory. If you cannot provide acceptable coverage, you will not be permitted to take possession of the vehicle.

Is roadside assistance included?

Accepted Answer

Basic 24/7 roadside assistance is included for mechanical issues and lockouts. Damage caused by driver error, off-road use, or unauthorized drivers is the renter's financial responsibility.
